Invitation to participate in a research project:
Cerebral Visual Impairment
Are you a parent/caregiver of a child with Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI), or do you know someone who is?
Nicola McDowell, a doctoral student at Massey Unviersity whether an increased understanding of CVI helps parents to better understand their own child’s visual difficulties and whether the attainment of knowledge helps to empower them to be more involved with their child’s programme.
If you are or know a parent/caregiver of a child with cerebral visual impairment, Nicola would like to invite you to take part in a short, online survey. The survey is for parents/caregivers of children (of any age, including adults) with CVI and should only take ten minutes. As an outcome of her research, Nicola hopes to develop an effective framework for children with CVI. Nicola lived with undiagnosed CVI for seventeen years, and is determined, through her research, to improve understanding, support and outcomes for children with CVI.
Here is the link to the survey. Further information about the survey is provided here
